Description

Suitable for redness, chafing or dryness – from dribble rash to sore noses, Weleda's fragrance-free balm is made with nourishing organic sunflower and avocado oils, luxurious cocoa seed butter and protective candelilla and carnauba waxes, infused with skin-caring biodynamic calendula extract. Ideal to pack in a bag when out and about, try it on the upper lip to soothe skin irritated by the constant nose blowing of seasonal sniffles, or apply a little balm around the rim of each nostril as a barrier to help trap dust, pollen or other allergens. Dermatologically tested for suitability on highly sensitive skin, and recommended by midwives.

Healing, Soothing Calendula

The bright yellow and orange flowers of calendula radiate the warmth and light of the sun, drawing its strong healing powers from it. Calendula has been used for centuries to soothe injuries and irritations of the skin thanks to its protective, restorative properties. The active compounds of calendula combat inflammation and promote the formation of new tissue, while carotenoids, flavonoids and essential oils strengthen the skin against external influences. The delicate skin of little ones in particular benefits from this. The skin structure of a baby is thin and sensitive and has yet to develop its resistance. The soothing extracts of calendula help with this. They promote the development of baby's skin so that the protective shell can develop healthily.
