Organic Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) Seeds
Description
Cosmos produce beautiful big flowers that are very easy to grow and low-maintenance to look after. They grow best in a sunny spot and will produce masses of pretty flowers in shades of red, pink and white with lacy fern-like foliage, from early summer through till the autumn. Cut the flowers regularly or dead head to encourage flowering. Great for bees, butterflies and hover-flies, they make a lovely cut flower. Tall annual with flowers which grow to around 60 cm tall.

Sowing: Sow the seeds indoors in March or April. Once they’ve sprouted and have two pairs of leaves, transplant into individual 7cm pots and grow on under cover until large enough to plant out. Gradually harden off before planting out after all risk of frost has passed. Can sow in situ from May.
Stake the plants if necessary, water regularly and dead-head to prolong the flowering season.
